Dear Author (Ship Swap 2014)

Thank you in advance for writing something for me. Take everything I say in this letter as suggestion and not scripture... I love being surprised and I know that sometimes the story that WANTS to be written isn't the one you start off intending to write, and (like I said in my last author letter), that's awesome!
In general, I'm very open minded. I like putting characters in extreme situations. I like stories about unrequited love and stories where the girl gets the girl (frequently both girls or occasionally even a guy) in the end. I like angst. I like feelings, even the dark ones. I tend to read more in the (ahem) adult end of the spectrum, but I also read fics that are g-rated and everything in between that and "enough to make me blush on the subway." I like love stories. I like kinky sex. I like stories that are about kinky sex at the beginning but are love stories in the end.
Speaking of kinky: begging, bondage, S&M, power play, pain, teasing, bruises, sex in public, consensual violence, first times, trust = yes, please.
There's almost nothing that turns me off in a fic if it's written well and stays true to the characters. I read non- and dub-con, I read dark fic. Suicide and depression are hard for me to read, but I read it, probably because I like to be put through the wringer emotionally. The only things I really dislike are first- and second- person POV and AU fics (vampires, college, etc), although canon-divergence is okay. I tend to avoid bloodplay, bodily functions and pregnancy fics, as well as anything that's all "I love you" fluff with no conflict. (Although there is this watersports Kira/Dax story by justwolf that I love and that prooves there are exceptions to any rules.) Other than that, I am an omnivorous reader.
The rest will be a little more on specific fandoms, so feel free to skip it if you have solid ideas you want to run with. Otherwise, I hope this will be helpful to you!

Claudia/H.G., Claudia/Myka
Either pairing or throw 'em all together. Honestly, I can sum this one up as "just add Claudia." She showed up with those 20,000 volt handcuffs, hiding a battered heart under all that swagger and she had me hook, line and sinker. As for plotlines, perhaps Evil!HG seduces Claudia in order to extract information from her? I'd also love to see a post-ep Claudia/Myka after the events of "For the Team." And okay, maybe it's cliche, and I've even *written* it, but I'm always up for another "virgin!Claudia gets initiated by the dynamic duo" fic.
Lost Girl
Bo/Tamsin
Ohhhhhh, Tamsin. Tough as nails on the outside, full of feels on the inside. This pairing is perfect for angst, perfect for hatesex, perfect for epic declarations of love, perfect for really intense first times. I love how complicated it is. The only pitfall I see with this pairing is the "Bo is hurt and has to heal and no one is around but Tamsin" trope, probably because I like imagining Tamsin as making a choice to go for it, to sate her own appetite. BUT there are obviously ways to get around that pitfall, like "Tamsin argues with Bo and beats the crap out of her BECAUSE she knows she'll be the only person around when Bo needs to heal." Side note: had I not been late to the nominating party, I would have happily requested Lauren/Tamsin, so feel free to run with that or to cook up a little Bo/Tamsin/Lauren if the spirit moves you.
The West Wing
C. J. Cregg/Donna Moss
I am surprised to see this pairing, partly because the show's been gone for so long, but partly because I thought I was the only one who still shipped CJ/Donna. I can see it now-- the wordplay! The sharp suits! The Jackal! The only suggestion I have for this one is all about discretion, like they're either concealing a budding relationship or just having a clandestine, easily-discovered hookup. I also like Donna's earnestness contrasted with CJ's toughness, and the fact that Donna was always more savvy than she appeared and that CJ was always softer than she did.
